Czasopisma po raz kolejny podzielone zostały na trzy części. W części A znalazło się 11 114 czasopism naukowych, które posiadają współczynnik wpływu Impact Factor (IF) i wpisane zostały do bazy Journal Citation Reports. Najwyższa liczba punktów za publikację w periodyku z tej listy wynosi 50.
Część B to wykaz czasopism, które nie posiadają współczynnika IF. Lista zawiera 2212 tytułów. Najwyższa liczba punktów za publikację w periodyku z tej listy wynosi 15.
Ostatnią częścią zestawienia jest lista C stworzona dla badań humanistycznych. Zawiera ona 4111 czasopism naukowych, które zostały uwzględnione w bazie European Reference Index for the Humanities (ERIH). Za ukazanie się artykułu w jednym z nich jego autor może otrzymać do 25 pkt.
Poniżej prezentujemy wybrane czasopisma z tych list związane z geodezją, kartografią i GIS-em (w nawiasie podano zmianę punktacji względem listy z zeszłego roku).
